The locks strike plate has to be adjusted so that it lines up properly with the corresponding latch or door lock bolt.

If you are operating the lock on ac instead of dc or on half wave rectified dc transformer single diode the lock won t hold.
Try to open the door while it is shut.
The best way to lubricate any lock is to disassemble it and use an aerosol lubricant to flush away grime and coat the moving parts of the lock.

In addition to cleaning and lubricating sliding door tracks you want to lubricate the door lock.
You will need to simply take the lock off the door.
This creates unnecessary friction as the metal bits of the lock attempt to slide past one another or get out of the way of other moving parts.
To correct the problem try loosening the strike mounting screw to see if the lock then holds properly.
